This policy explains what Sentiv Rewards ("Sentiv", "we", "us") does with information you share on this website. Questions about any of it can go to caleb@sentivrewards.com.
The short version
This is a marketing website, not a product you log into. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, advertising networks, or cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone. The only information we hold is what you deliberately type into a form.
Joining the mailing list
When you enter your email address into a signup form on this site, that address is submitted directly to Mailchimp, the email service we use to run the list. It is stored and processed on Mailchimp's systems under Mailchimp's own privacy policy and terms — it does not pass through or get stored on this website's server.
We use it for one thing: occasional email about Sentiv — product updates, early access, and new writing. We do not send it to anyone else.
You can unsubscribe at any time. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to caleb@sentivrewards.com and ask to be removed. No reason is required and we will not ask for one. Removal is handled promptly and ends all further email from us.
Blog comments
If you leave a comment on a blog post, we store what you submit:
- Your name — published alongside your comment, visible to anyone reading the post. Use whatever name you are comfortable being public.
- Your email address — optional. If you provide one it is stored privately, is never shown on the site, and is never added to the mailing list.
- The comment itself — published on the post.
Ask us and we will delete your comment. Comments are also subject to the Terms of Use.
Server logs
Like essentially every web server, ours records ordinary request information — IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. We use it to keep the site running and secure, and we do not use it to build a profile of you or combine it with anything else.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking scripts.
The one thing we do store in your browser is a pair of flags in your browser's local storage, remembering that you have already dismissed or completed the email signup prompt so it does not reappear on every visit. Those flags stay on your device, are never transmitted to us, and disappear when you clear your browsing data.
Security, and the limits of it
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. But no method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sentiv Rewards is not liable for unauthorised access to, loss of, or disclosure of information you submit through this site — including email addresses held on our behalf by Mailchimp or any other third-party provider. Please share only information you are comfortable sharing.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time, by link or by email.
- Ask us to delete a comment you posted.
- Ask what information we hold about you, and we will tell you.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
